I did not have a great relationship with my father. I did not have faith in him as a family leader and I feel that seeing God as a father was difficult for me. As you know, I had to be led to the alter kicking and screaming on multiple occasions until He finally got my attention on a "literal" mountaintop in Mexico. Looking back at my life I can see that it would have been better if I could have had faith in God, rather than myself. God is good, all the time.
