Worship has a scent
Does your worship smell terrible?
I got to visit Boston in 2019. We spent a whole day walking the Freedom Trail. We toured the USS Constitution. It was awesome. At one point, we were riding the “T” line, and we opted to take the elevator out of the subway rather than the crazy number of stairs.
You guys. That elevator smelled awful. I won’t go into details. But it was—the worst. Gracious. We couldn’t wait to get out of that elevator.
Bad smells make us want to run away, but good smells make us happy, can calm us, can inspire us, etc. But did you know scripture tells us that worship has a scent?
