If you’re a sci-fi nerd like me, you’ve probably been following the exploits of SpaceX and the incredible recent achievements in private spaceflight. Just—wow!

A decade ago, what we’re seeing today was impossible. But now, thanks to a handful of visionaries who were willing to put their money where their mouth was, the potential to reach Mars is back on the table.

Not that Elon Musk and SpaceX are following God in all this, but it’s a pretty cool example of how doing the impossible requires a vision to accomplish something that nobody has ever done before.
