What does the law of Moses say?

Sometimes God will give us the answers we want, rather than the ones we need. Let me tell you, the answers I want are rarely helpful. They don’t give me the peace I think I’m going to get.

One day an expert in religious law stood up to test Jesus by asking him this question: “Teacher, what should I do to inherit eternal life?” Jesus replied, “What does the law of Moses say? How do you read it?” (Luke 10:25)
