When the pandemic first hit, I got my very first taste of what a food shortage looks like. Most crises that strike the U.S. don’t reach as far into the Midwest as Kansas, but COVID did. We had bare shelves.
I know nothing of a real food shortage, but it certainly made me think about what a famine would be like. When you’re struggling just to survive, it’s a challenge to think about other people.
Having faith is always a challenge.
