What would you do with a second chance?

You confront someone about the hurt they’ve caused, and they respond with sincere apologies and an honest desire to maintain your relationship with each other.

What do you do? Especially if you had to get a third party involved, what do you do? Do you believe them? Do you trust them?

Again, it depends on the situation. It depends on the hurt that’s been done. It depends on the type of sin we’re talking about here. But generally speaking? If the relationship is you and them?
