Rest is a necessity, not a luxury

God gave us rest because He knew we needed it. By refusing it and powering through in disobedience, we are only hurting ourselves.

Then Jesus said to them, “The Sabbath was made to meet the needs of people, and not people to meet the requirements of the Sabbath.” (Mark 2:27)
