Does the pressure to perform drive you?

I worked as a creative writer for a marketing team for about five years. Originally, though, I came on as a webmaster. But after about a year, my supervisors realized that while I was good at the tech stuff, my gift was in writing.

I had one job. Being a webmaster. But I ended up doing more writing than webmastering. That one job I was supposed to do wasn’t getting done. So my job had to change, because I couldn’t do more than one thing well.
