It’s the last full week of January, and we’re almost done with our study on attitude (at least for now). I hope you enjoyed the deeper dive into some awesome Bible characters last week. This week, we’re getting practical. This is where the rubber meets the road.
How do we choose a godly attitude?
We know what it is. We know why it matters. We’ve even seen some wonderful examples out of Scripture so we understand what it looks like. But how do we choose it?
This is the hardest part. Making choices. If you can change your mind, you can change anything. If you can look at your life honestly and be willing to adjust where you see the need for growth, you will find success in almost everything you try.
Being willing to course correct is the mark of someone who can accomplish great things, and it all starts with your attitude.
So what are we talking about this week?
January 24 - How to pattern your life after Jesus
January 25 - How to take your thoughts captive
January 26 - How to prioritize God’s dreams
January 27 - How to study God’s Word
January 28 - How to know where to apply this lifestyle
Also our memorization of the Beattitudes continues with this week’s verses, Matthew 5:9-10.
God blesses those who work for peace, for they will be called the children of God. God blesses those who are persecuted for doing right, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs.
I’m grateful for each and every one of you, and I pray that as we approach February, you are keeping God at the center of your life. Remember if you know someone who you think would enjoy these daily devotions, don’t hesitate to spread the word!
