God doesn't give bad directions
It’s entirely valid to feel confused when God leads you a direction you don’t expect. But what you don’t need to do is worry about it.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
