I attend a large church (last I checked I think we see at least 7,000 on a regular weekend, I’m sure it’s bigger now). It’s my second home and family, but when service is over and you’re trying to get out to your car, it’s a pain .
Before or after service, if I’m trying to get anywhere, it’s like swimming against the current. You’re surrounded by people who are all going the opposite direction you are. It sure would be easier to just go with the flow, but that usually means I have to walk all the way around the building when going straight is a more efficient path.
It’s a better path, but that doesn’t make it an easier one.
