I’ve got so many friends who have food sensitivities. Gluten. Dairy. Eggs. Nuts. It’s really challenging to make meals for people at times because you just don’t know what is going to send someone into anaphylactic shock!
If someone can’t eat gluten, you shouldn’t bake them traditional banana bread. If your friend tells you they can’t eat eggs or dairy, don’t give them quiche. You’d think it would be obvious, but common sense isn’t common anymore.
You have to think.
So if we need to apply our understanding to issues like dietary restrictions, why do we think we can just stumble through our relationship with God?
