Bring a humble spirit

If you can accomplish so much on your own, why do you need God?

Do you enjoy spending your time with people who brag about their accomplishments? Maybe when you first meet them, you find it fascinating. After all, how many people do you get to meet who actually DO anything anymore?

But the longer someone brags about what they’ve done or where they’ve gone or who they know, the less impressive it gets. Even if it’s all true (and it rarely is).

When your conversation is all about you, there’s no room for anyone else. Have you ever thought that maybe your conversations with God work the same way?
