Be sure it's God you're following

Just because somebody knows a lot of stuff doesn't mean they're telling you the truth

Some people are born with a compass in their brains. Have you noticed that? They just have an inborn sense of which way is up. True north and all that jazz.

Not me. Not even close. I can’t find my way out of an open paper bag without help most of the time. So, as you can imagine, Google Maps is my friend.

But even Google Maps lets me down sometimes. If it doesn’t update, it tells me the wrong information. And when that happens, I get lost.

Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. For there are many false prophets in the world.
